It feels like only yesterday, I was there with Vi, right there in Copley, having the time of our lives. And now, there is chaos and blood.

I am dying in this weather. Trying to keep up with work but the muggy air makes me so lethargic. How does anyone live in this place? I don’t think I can stay too long. And I don’t think I will either.
On the bright side, I may have travel news to announce very soon! Just can’t wait to get out of here so I can stop breathing wet air. I need to grow gills if I’m going to live here, and I would really prefer not to (live here or grow gills).
In the meantime, I am trying to keep from falling off my chair by reposting my old peektures on Instagram (@jessicaval). I have 4,000 peektures in my phone so that should keep me occupied for a long, long time. Yes, you read that right – I have four friggin thousand peektures in my phone.
I haven’t rambled for a while. It’s actually kinda fun to ramble. Why did I stop rambling? And why did I ramble so much when I was younger? I am going to start rambling (more) again.

When are spammers gonna realise that spamming isn’t gonna make me wanna buy a new teevee or whatever crap they are trying to sell?
My second pair of Frye Carmen Harness Tall boots came in the mail, after a harrowing two days of worrying about whether they were lost along the way… I paid $70 to ship by EMS guaranteed delivery on a certain date which they did not meet. I was told by Singpost to pursue a refund but unfortunately, the friend who helped to send them to me did not think it was worth pursuing. To me, it’s not about the $70 but the moral of the whole thing, you know? I would gladly have done the same and more for this friend, but sadly she thought otherwise. I guess I always have too much faith in people.
Thankfully, the boots are completely awesome. On to the peektures!

I was pleasantly surprised at how distressed they were! Quite different from the Light Tan and full of deep, luscious character. If molten lava chocolate were a pair of boots, these would be it.
This was my first outfit with them!
Can’t wait to wear them again! A happy problem is slowly emerging. With my current family of Frye Carmens, I’m starting to have difficulty when deciding which pair to wear! I love each pair so much! <3
