I was at Liang Court on Saturday arvo, on a mission to get a wire cable for Mr Bb, and decided to pop into Kinokuniya to scout for Sentimental Circus things. There, I spied a Shappo dressed in the little concert tuxedo amongst the Shappo crowd!

It was the same Music Shappo I bought for Vi a little while ago and have yet to send to her. I love the 10″ Shappos. I think they are the best size, and look the cutest too. They also have the best fur. <3

He stared at me hopefully.

So I had to give him some attention, regardless of whether I would bring him home. But when I grabbed him off the shelf, he escaped from the clear plastic bag and landed onto my lap. I think he really wanted to follow me home.

I’ve been bugging Mr Bb to buy me a Shappo, and I also wanted either the classic Shappo or the Shappo in red cape (Candy Shappo) to be my first, so I didn’t bring him home. But I couldn’t just leave him there either, after his efforts in reaching out to me, so I put him on reserve under my name. And off I had to go to Sim Lim Square to find that elusive cable, before the rain came down.

I couldn’t help thinking about him though. Mr Bb reinforced by saying it would be a rescue.

The next day, while Mr Bb was working (on a Sunday!), I had to go and rescue him. <3

And so… I finally have my own 10″ Shappo. After staring at Vi’s for the longest time. LOL!

I also caved and ordered a Candy Shappo. I think he will arrive mid-week. More yay.
