Love Bonito’s Challis Cheongsam Review

I see many girls surfing in this way looking for a review on the Challis Cheongsam. Well, my black piece in XS just came today so I’ll do a review for you girls!

I am a UK4-6, and most of Love Bonito‘s size S clothes are too big for me. I only order when they have something in XS.

The Challis Cheongsam is super stretchy all over. It fits me like a glove! Thankfully!

I love how the top fits especially…

All peektures taken with iPhone so please excuse the quality! <3

Slightly unforgiving because it is so form fitting. Can’t be lazy if I want to wear this dress!

The material is very comfortable on the skin. Lace is soft and not scratchy at all. I’m 5 ft zero (1.53 m) so the dress isn’t as short on me as on the LB models. I haven’t decided yet if I will have it hemmed at the tailor or keep it as it is.

One thing I have to say is the side zip may bunch up as you twist your body. I may get the zip removed altogether because the material is stretchy enough for me to pull over my head without unzipping.

Very pleased with it. bB will be getting one in Nude as well.

Hope this helps some of you out there! :)

On the horizon

We have visuals of our villa in Koh Tao! Albeit very small visuals, they are.

All images pulled from Koh Tao Cabana.

As it turns out, Mel managed to get us an ocean-view villa. How awesome does the villa look? And the lovely beaches… bB could build a better sandcastle with the fine, powdery sand! And sit on that lovely swing by the sea!

The adventure in Vienna is postponed to March. It was a little hard to plan with the Bangkok and Koh Tao trip looming so close. bB can wait for Vienna, but Mel’s beach wedding must go on! :)

In any case, more time to prepare is always a good thing. bB has been doing her research on Vienna and doing her planning! It appears Vienna is a haven for sweet treats and confectionery! bB has been thinking about starting a series of entries named**The Macaron Scribbles** to hunt down macarons in Singapore, and it might just have to continue into Vienna on a trail of powdered sugar, the quest for scrumptious macarons!

A list of bakeries, cafes and confectioneries is being compiled. With glee. Very much glee. And maybe a little bit of greed. :D

March would also be slightly milder in terms of the weather. bB won’t get to see snow after all (no snow Totoro for now) but at least it will be less freezin’ balls. What’s the right way to say this anyway? Freezin’ fewer balls? Freezin’ smaller balls? But it would still be cold enough for my Envy Delish boots and H&M peacoat. :)

A little sad about not building a snow Totoro, but I will build one before 2012 is over. Maybe for Christmas. That would be something awesome to look forward to. <3

Maybe after Vienna, bB would like to spend some time back in Melbourne as well. Which would be good timing to catch the colder months. Missing the lifestyle there – the food, the fresh produce markets, the people, the cafes, the vibe, the air. We shall see how everything pans out.
