French Toast by bB
My first attempt at making French Toast. Have never done it before…
The smell was good but I think it needed sugar in the egg mixture. Cinnamon is a good idea too.

My first Harley’s
No, I didn’t buy a motorcycle, though I would love to have one someday.
My quest for black wedges continues as my current favourite pair is falling to pieces. I saw these Harley’s on Endless and ordered them a while ago. They kept delaying the shipment and finally arrived yesterday!
They are very solid, as one would expect from Harley Davidson. Very different from the ladylike pair I’m trying to replace but I like them anyway!
Very comfortable, with amazing traction! I think they are meant for ladies who ride.
Balenciaga motorcycle bags, Harley Davidson motorcycle shoes. How appropriate! :)

Tea with my ladies, Talise and Cammi on a lovely Saturday arvo, at a beautiful (but freezing) little cafe named Antoinette. <3
I had the pan fried foie gras, which was excellent. A good sized serving, with the outside seared crisp and lots of apple cubes to balance out the flavours. We were amused at the size and shape of the brioche, which was delicious as well.
Talise had pancakes with salmon and cream cheese. The pancakes were the perfect texture. We thought the cheese was a little bland though.
And we shared a slice of strawberry shortcake.
While it was quite good, Bakerzin still has the best I’ve tried so far.

There are three outlets apparently. We were at the Mandarin Gallery. The place is tiny so be prepared to wait. I think we waited 45 minutes to get a table.
