After a few failed attempts, we finally made it to West Coast Park to catch the sunset.
It was a very productive Sunday morning, where we managed to locate and purchase two Viewsonic monitors Mr Bb has been trying to find. We went on the mission to Funan Centre, brought them to his office and set them up, and then had meatballs at IKEA.
I could not believe he had never eaten IKEA meatballs in his life. Apparently, food and furniture do not mix in the US. Are Singaporeans really food-crazy? :P
He quite enjoyed the meatballs. :)
The timing was perfect for sunset at West Coast Park. We didn’t get (too) lost and managed to make it there before the sun had completely set. Lots of large puffy clouds made the view pretty interesting with the sun’s rays.
Bliss is doing absolutely nothing on a Sunday evening with a special someone.
Or being fed bites off an apple cinnamon muffin.
Or being brought yoghurt in the bathroom while putting make-up on.
Or strolling hand-in-hand, anytime, anyplace.

I remember some Swedes I knew were gobsmacked we have cafes and serve meatballs at the IKEA here as well ;)
Mr bB looks like Chris Martin in that last pic! ;)
I Googled Chris Martin… I see the resemblance! :)
I want to try the IKEA chicken wings next time. Everyone seems to order those!
Thanks for dropping in on the blog, too :) It’s nice to see shots of West coast sunsets as I document sky shots almost everyday here in the East. No one ever told me about Singapore sunsets before — it’s spectacular! I guess because it’s summer, sunset views from here mean a huge, red ball of sun sinking amidst wispy clouds set against a blue and purple backdrop. The colors and cloud formations over the sea — it’s like watching Discover channel live everyday :)
I can see why you love the vibrancy of the sunsets here. I love your use of colours in your art! Living in Singapore does have its benefits, despite the crazy humidity. I do miss the seasons though. As the days cycle through spring to winter and over again, there is that sense of change and renewal that I don’t really feel here in Singapore. Sometimes I wish I could split myself several ways, and plant each of me in every place I love. :)
We’re right by the water so the humidity here is pretty thick BUT the sea brings us strong blasts of wind everyday :) Most of all, the food in these little nooks in the East are just absolute jewels! I’ve skirted my travels to avoid snow all my life. But Mother Nature had other plans. Was in Boston & NYC mid-October when she dumped ice, snow and rain all at once :-o But yes, it would be nice to see some cherry blossoms right about… now :-)
I miss cold weather! And snow! It’s been a while since I saw snow. Oh I know, food is awesome in the east, especially the East Coast Road and Joo Chiat area! :)
