Saturday brunch with an Aussie friend was at Artichoke Cafe + Bar. I finally made it here after putting it on my list for months. I remember the lovely courtyard when I was here before the current owners took over.
I had the scrambled eggs with mushrooms. Very generous portion. Ingredients were fresh and everything was tasty with the right touch of seasoning.
Dessert was a scoop of artisan sorbet – raspberry, lychee and rosewater flavour. This was delicious! The flavours came together beautifully. Apparently, Artichoke gets their gelato supply from Latte e Miele, a gelato shop founded by two Italians in Singapore. Each flavour is handcrafted with 100% natural ingredients and no added preservatives.
Yes, those are champagne glasses. Bubbly for brunch!
We visited the Singapore Art Museum to walk off the food and finished off with coffee at Olio Dome. I’ve missed the iced mocha with ice cream but it absolutely wrecked my gut for the rest of the day!
